WELCOME TO THE MAUI PREP
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM SUMMER CAMP 2009 SITE
Maui Prep is proud to announce that we are offering a Preschool program for the Summer of 2009. This program is open to kids from 3 to 5 years old from both inside our current Maui Prep community as well as other kids from the community. This program is designed to let the kids have lots of fun while learning in a safe and nurturing environment. Our guding principle at Maui Prep is "students first" and there is nowhere this applies to more than with the youngest members of our ohana, the Preschool.
The Preschool program will begin on Monday, June 8 and
will continue until Friday, July 3. The daily schedule will be from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. We understand that families have busy and exciting summer
activities planned, and for this reason we have tried to provide the maximum
flexibility in signing up for the program.
SCHEDULING
Parents can sign up their children on a weekly or monthly basis. Families who choose to participate on a weekly basis are welcome to choose any weeks they wish. This means, for example, that children could come for the first two weeks, then take a week off for a wonderful family summer vacation, then rejoin the program.
To make sure that the Summer Program runs smoothly and provides all the
kids need, we need to know in advance how many kids will be joining us.
For this reason, we ask parents to sign up at least 2 weeks in advance.
For daily sign ups, please contact us as much in advance as possible and we can
determine if we can take your child that day. We are limited in the number of
kids we can take, so please sign up as early as possible to make sure your child
has a place.
TUITION
We have made every effort to keep the costs of the program affordable while providing the best experience and care for the kids. The tuition of the program is as follows:
 Weekly Rate: 200 dollars (Monday through Friday)
Monthly Rate: 700 dollars (4 weeks)
Please note that kids must bring their own snacks and
lunch, as none will be provided by the school.
MEET OUR PROGRAM LEADER
The main teacher for our Preschool program is Ms. Erika Huck.
Many of you already know Erika as our wonderful director of our Preschool
program at Maui Prep. Erika brings a love of kids and years of experience to the
program. Here is a message from Erika about the program:
“Fun in the Sun” - The Preschool Summer Program
Our Maui Prep kids explore the world around them using their five senses.
The Summer Program days may include outdoor play, exploration and discovery
around campus, art, and music.
We encourage our children to ask “How” and “Why” and use their inquiries as a basis for guiding the discovery of natural wonders. Camp activities are interactive and take advantage of the wonderful capacity of these natural observers to learn about the world around them. Our Maui Prep kids explore the world around them using their five senses. The Summer Program days may include outdoor play, exploration and discovery around campus, art, and music.
Each week will have a broad theme to guide the camp activities; Animals
on Campus, Fruits, Flowers & Vegetables.
